unbeknown Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Had you arranged an exact time and place in previous texts? I'll probably get scorned for saying this but I see no harm in confirming. If he is interested in you, texting to confirm a time and place will not deter him. It wouldn't for me at least. Some might say it shows neediness but I've always said needy people are needy. Checking in to confirm if they are still good to meet is fine in my eyes - peoples plans often change so I've always made sure to check in beforehand on the day.

losangelena Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 OP, glad he confirmed. As a general rule, I see nothing wrong with confirming day-of, though, especially if you haven't heard from them. What are you supposed to do, just guess that they're still gonna show up?

What if he's saving the conversation for when he sees her in person? I almost never hear from my BF on days when I know I'm going to see him later. Why bother chatting all day? You won't have anything to talk about in person.
