If I reject someone and they get mean why would I care?

I'd chuckle & file it away under my log of crazy chicks I met online.

Most sane women I meet online don't feel the need to reject me back when I tell them I "wasn't feeling it" after a date.

On a serious note, you've only had one date, it's not like you're ending some meaningful relationship. Just tell her after thinking about it you have decided it's best you don't meet for another date as even though she's a darling and you liked her immensely as a person, you just don't feel she's right for you and you don't want to waste her time or your own. She'll respect you more for that than stringing her along. It might sting her ego but seriously, one date..she will be fine.

Also, I feel like I'm in the same boat as you after every first date I've been on. I could sit and talk to them for hours and genuinely have a great night but I don't feel that attraction or desire to do it again. To me that's as hard/disappointing as when I get rejected because I feel like something is wrong with me.
