Author nickprior Posted July 30, 2015 Author Posted July 30, 2015 should i text the number again and say "hey this is sarah right?"
mystikmind2005 Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Well, probably best idea is just sending that one text message and leave it with her. If she does not reply then it is her way of saying no thanks, accept it. 2

kendahke Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 are you positive that she's not busy with her life and hasn't gotten around to checking on her phone? I'm not joined at the hip to my phone and hours go by before I check it. She may be the same way... she might not live for her phone. So, don't automatically assume that she's maliciously ignoring you. Also, you were rather vague, so she might be thinking you really aren't that serious. Next time, be more definitive with a time and place. And call her, don't text.
Survivor12 Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I want to make sure I have this right--You Sent a text that said, "hey, it's Nick from****" & you can't understand why she didn't respond. Was that your entire text? 1

Was that your entire text? she didnt have my number i told her after she gave me her number "i'll give a text after I get off and we can figure something out" so i said that and i fgured she wul be like "hey hows it going"
Lansing Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Dude, you need to relax a bit. 7 mins and no response isn't s big deal. Do not text the "is this Sarah" message. Just ask her out in the date for Wednesday and see how she responds. Try to call her even.
mystikmind2005 Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 but why give me her number? Because people often like to avoid drama. But anyway, just wait and see until tomorrow, and by then you will know if she is interested or not. 1
Author nickprior Posted July 31, 2015 Author Posted July 31, 2015 Because people often like to avoid drama. But anyway, just wait and see until tomorrow, and by then you will know if she is interested or not. she comes in every thursday to clean our kitchen and laundry room what do i say then?
IronZ Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Wait, don't text her again. If you see her at your work again say hi and play it off as if everything's cool.
Toodaloo Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Nick if I knew a guy was stressing out the way you are right now I would run for the hills... Calm down. Its just a drink for crying out loud! She might be working, her phone might be out of signal, she may have left it at her mothers on the way to somewhere, she may be driving... Seriously cool head and calm down.
Tayla Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Pretty sure phones are set up to show"recent" calls. So its in her history. She would have to delete it. Which is doubtfull. Sounds like she is busy. Next time you bump into her, smile and pick up with a time frame to meet up. GL!

ird Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Sounds like you have some anxiety/self-confidence issues you need to resolve before trying to date someone. Calm down. You put her number in right, you don't need to double-text her, you don't need to call her right this second. Wait a few hours, better yet, a few days.
scorpiogirl Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 maybe i didnt put her number in right? Or maybe she's not interested. how is anyone here supposed to know? I want to say it serves you right for texting instead of calling, but I won't say that
Gary S Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 You did everything right. The problem is, in the beginning, you don't have the hook of love, so they can change their mind at any point. Again, you did everything right.... you texted her with your name......... which is exactly what you should do, now she will know who is calling.... if she responds within 24, call her.......if not, she's not interested, drop it. There is always another girl and you only need one. 1
nadine5 Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Leave it alone. If she hasn't texted you back, she's either not interested or she's playing games... neither of which you want to deal with. Sorry.
