Erinnie Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Hi all, I know this may be a very dumb question, but I am very inexperienced. Recently, I went out with a guy on a few dates and we made out. On the last date, things got a little heated so he touched me a little (for about two mins) in the car. I never touched him but I don't know if he touched his private parts before touching me (I don't think so?). We did not have any sex at all. It have been two days since the date, and my whole body is itching like crazy and have red bumps (my legs and arms especially). I am very new to the dating scene and never had sex. I don't know if it is possible to get any disease from doing what I mentioned above. He have told me that he have a few FWBs and hookups before, and also he have seen escorts before. Now I am really scare! Can I get any type of STD (even common and unharmful ones) if he just fingered me for two minutes and we made out? Please help
Author Erinnie Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Oh I wanted to add that we made out A LOT and I did have a tiny cut in my lips. Can You Get an STD From Kissing? This link said that I can get something from kissing, especially with cuts. Anyone know if that's possible?
d0nnivain Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 That sounds like an allergy not an STD. But heads up fingering is more than just kissing. Your best bet is to go to the doctor & get some genuine tests. 1
VengeanceGuidesMe Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 You can get herpes simplex I from making out. Though I think someone has to have an active sore for this. Meaning you would probably have noticed it, did he have a cold sore? Mono maybe. But that is just like super sick and tired. A red rash where he touched you? This would be some sort pathogenic or allergic reaction rather than some STD. I know things like poison ivy can be transferred through contact so I am sure other allergenic materials can be as well. Your best bet is to go to the doctors rather than use the internet for a diagnosis. There's nothing wrong with getting a clean bill of health.

It is hard because I am under the same insurance as my mom, so I don't want her to find out. i heard that herpes type 1 is very possible from kissing?

My private parts are not itchy.
d0nnivain Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Herpes is possible from kissing. Although your mom will see the bill neither the doctor or insurance company can tell her about your medical care. Those details are protected by law. If mom asks & you can't not answer her, say you thought you had an allergic reaction, which is in part true.

If her mom calls the Doc/NP, they might tell her mom that BC is recommended due to her age & her mom can read between the lines.
RoseVille Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 (edited) Herpes from kissing, don't need a visible sore to pass HSV. Warts from genital touching. Edited July 29, 2015 by a LoveShack.org Moderator
Yookie Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I think you can get crabs from touching and/or close contact. They will make you itch like crazy. Please go get checked out.
smackie9 Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Is there not a free family planning women's clinic in your area??
smackie9 Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Take some Benadryl, you can buy that a any drug store, I agree you are probably having an allergic reaction to something. Are you taking any medication like sulfa drugs or anti-biotic? Or how about any herbal remedies?
rester Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I don't know if what you did with this guy was enough to transmit scabies, but you might want to look that up.

Please help Well, I would say it's an STD, but I could be that he has a dog or cat and fleas are in his car or scabies can be transmitted through skin to skin contact -- arms, legs, etc. Scabies is a microscopic mite that gets under the skin and causing intense itching because they are laying eggs and the person is allergic. If you're not allergic it doesn't really bother you and so you don't know you have them. They just get spread from person to person through daily contact, shaking hands, or coming in contact with clothing even. It doesn't mean they aren't "clean" people.
LookAtThisPOst Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 If there's rashes on your arms, it's likely not an STD as most lesions are in the crotch region.
xcupid Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Could be an allergy. Go to your doctor. Then you can stop worrying.
Toodaloo Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I doubt this is an STD but you need to go and see your doctor.
Gaeta Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 There's not even a need to go see a doctor, ask your pharmacist and be done with it. It's an allergy reaction. Then come home and read up on STDs and learn about their symptoms so you stop panicking at each pimple coming out of you. Sounds like someone did a good job at scaring the hell out of you about sex.
Vintage79 Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 OP - as you can see, everyone on this forum tries to be very helpful, which is awesome, but there is clearly some uncertainty amongst the group - meaning you should probably just go see a doctor if you're concerned by it. My view, it sounds like an allergic reaction, so try taking a normal dose of benadryl/diphenhydramine HCl, and plan on a doctor trip to get good info. Benadryl will be harmless if you take a normal dose, and if it is an allergy, you should notice the benefits pretty quickly...
