bson1257 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 If you were on a date and the person asked you a question that you would feel embarrassed to answer truthfully, is it acceptable to lie?
d0nnivain Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Not really but it's perfectly OK to change the subject or give a vague answer. Watch politicians answer Qs; they say what they want to talk about regardless of what the Q was. 3
jessiejae Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 you really shouldn't because if you stay together you will have to come clean later its best to just be honest at first
alphamale Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 If you were on a date and the person asked you a question that you would feel embarrassed to answer truthfully, is it acceptable to lie? of course it is acceptable to lie - some of my best relationships were based upon lies
Clarence_Boddicker Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 It depends on the question. "Does my ass look too big?" No way! Your ass is perfect, I can barely keep my hands off it. That's a totally acceptable lie, even if her butt is not perfect for you.
Michelle ma Belle Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Depends on the question. Can you give us an example? Regardless, if it were me I would have some concerns lying outright if only out of fear that it might come back to bite me in the ass somehow (they always seem to in the end). Instead, if there was something I'd prefer not to discuss or share I'd be more inclined to let my date know that it's not something I feel comfortable sharing right now OR I'd find a way to redirect the conversation. 1

d0nnivain Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Questions that deal with past relationships, sexual experience, etc... The details are none of the other person's business. You give them a vague truthful answer: you had relationships in the past; they are over; you are free to date now; and you give them relevant details about your heath -- disease free & willing to take a test. Other than that you keep your mouth shut. There is no reason to lie but there is also no reason to divulge details. Search LS for the myriad of threads on "the Number"
