hotpotato Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 out of your relationships? I mean like stuff that makes having a relationship worth it.
d0nnivain Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Companionship. Sex. Laughter. Emotional support. Somebody to care about. Family. Warmth (I'm always cold & DH is a human furnace). A dining companion. A playmate.
PrettyEmily77 Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 A lover, a sounding board for all my crazy ideas, a shoulder to cry on after a hard day at work, the best last-minute travel companion, a not-too-shabby cook, a straight-talker who isn't afraid of telling me when I'm out of order, a best friend who only has my best interests at heart. I hope that's also what I am to him.
S_A Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Anything else? lol A great f***ing time is what we get out of it. Don't worry though, you can't miss what you have not experienced, so it can't be that bad for you.

Author hotpotato Posted August 8, 2015 Author Posted August 8, 2015 Anything else? This is a short list.
No Limit Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I don't think others can help persuade you to look for a relationship by giving you a list of reasons why they like being in a relationship.
StalwartMind Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 While everyone have different likes/dislikes and we all seek different things, I feel there are many thing to get out of a relationship, at least to me the following are what I enjoy. Honesty, Finding someone who is completely honest about everything is a great joy. It certainly helps increasing the comfort zone which you can freely move around in. Non judgmental, It's nice to have someone you can completely confide in without having to spend a second worrying about them reacting in a negative way. Support and comfort, When you are annoyed, upset or just frustrated with something, it can be soothing to know you can turn to someone who will always be there for you when you need. Intimacy, Whatever ones preference is, if you have someone you connect with on a deep level as well as share a similar drive/passion, you basically have the recipe for one of the most pleasurable experiences. Friendship and activities, A partner who is also your best friend, while not for everyone, it is imperative to me that I have that, as we can enjoy everything together. There's no one I'd rather share my experiences with that my girlfriend, and having an unlimited list of activities to pick from coupled with creativity just means endless variation as well. Open mindedness, Having someone who doesn't let their mind be restricted by specific social standards or other kind of bias, feels invaluable compared to being with someone who is restricted by ignorance or shallow views. Everyone have different limits, as long as you find someone who is greatly compatible that's what matters. Potential life companion, I think what lures many into wanting a relationship is the idea of sharing something wonderful with someone else for life. Sure many grow bored, things become stagnant or even temptation makes people be attracted to something new or different. However there are those where a relationship just keeps developing in a positive way, year after year. I wish everyone who would like to, could get to experience that exact feeling Entertainment and relaxation, Most of us enjoy having fun as well as winding down sometimes, doing both with someone who appreciates you can greatly enhance any experience. Ideally you should want a relationship that fits your desires and requirements. If you are in one that you consider perfect, then there is literally an endless amount of things you can get out of it. It depends on your preferences and expectations. 2
