Rude boy Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 So I was with my daughter, who is a year old. I got some DVDs of kids movies to watch when I have her. One I've got is Brother Bear. I am a fan of Joaquin Phoenix, so I put it in. At first, I felt for the main character, getting screwed over, being mad and playing along then at the end he loves the little bear he's with and stays with him. I cried. I haven't cried like that for awhile. In a strange way, it summed up how I feel about fatherhood. It was strange to me. I'm not a really emotional type guy. I keep a lot more inside than I should. I'm a grown man and I was crying over a cartoon. I feel a little silly about it. Has that happened to anyone else? 1

Thanks, I'm really trying. I feel embarrassed about crying, even if I shouldn't be. I mean, she won't remember it. I love her so much it actually hurts a little. It's weird. I don't know what happened to me, but I kind of like it:love:
TaraMaiden2 Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Here's 'small One'. Get tissues. Oh, and you're gonna need a bigger box.
Haydn Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Perfectly acceptable behavior. I often howl uncontrollably when I watch movie's with the kids. Nothing unmanly about hogging the Kleenex when all appears lost for Anna and Elsa's true loves kiss revives her.
