infiniteQuest Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 I've officially completed week 2 of NC, and I want to share this tip with some of you who are struggling and are technologically-inclined. Since NC is much like getting rid of a bad habit, tracking it / logging your progress every day is very helpful to maintain it. You look back at the length of your current streak, and it automatically reminds you how far you've come, and how you don't want to destroy all of the progress made so far. I've been using an app to track mine (it's free on Android and no I'm not affiliated with them in any way) called Habitbull HabitBull You just mark your successful NC days on a calendar, and it links the circles together to show you how long your streak has been. When I wake up in the morning after a nightmare about my ex, I find a little bit of comfort by logging the previous day as a successful NC in the app, and tell myself that today is a little bit easier. It's overall a pretty sad state of affairs but I'll take every little bit that can help.
Nolan 93 Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Over time you will forget to track it, I have forgotten the number of days I've been in NC. It just doesn't phase you anymore, the pain is no longer there. 3
