I have had time to think about this greatly as I have been trying to heal from this affair. I thought it would be fun to explain what it is you really want in the next relationship besides of course it being with a faithful single man, non ass___.:laugh:

 

 

I want my twin soul mate. Not a soul mate like in imagination and such, but the one category professionals speak of regarding relationships which is your mirror twin.

 

 

You always finish each other's thoughts and sentences. You may even bring up a topic or subject they are momentarily thinking of, the same thoughts as you. You may experience many Deja vu moments as if you were both together in another lifetime.

 

 

You are constantly into one another, at events and socials, as if you are the only two in the room. There is always a natural kindness and consideration of one another.

 

 

You never worry when apart because you always feel you are connected to your twin soul mate. There is always laughter and a comfortable environment and you love to just sit together and people watch and have fun.

 

 

Yes, all this may sound gay, as some like to say, but it is truly what I want and will be looking out for, no settling. :D

Are you dating currently Popsicle? I will at the end of Summer, have too much going on from now on. I had a little break here lately. I wish there was a place around my city that focused on speed dating. Where large groups have a few minutes of convo at tables and move on if not interested. I think that would be a great way to get a feel of someone before wasting too much time on internet sites.

 

 

I am nervous. I have not casually dated in forever.

I want the marriage I was supposed to have... I.e. the one where I don't go and f%#k everything up. We are in the process of starting over.

I am open to it, but I haven't been out on any dates in a long long while, mostly because I haven't yet met anyone that I like enough. When I do, I will jump on it (and him too, lol)

I want someone to mow the lawn, clean the pool, take my car for servicing, powerwash the house, clean the garage, clear the gutters, hang the Christmas lights, and sleep in another room.

 

I don't see that happening, though. They all seem to want something in return. sigh.

I have the relationship I want and need. We share a home, our children, and every aspect of our lives. He's my best friend and my husband.

 

Love is a choice. Every day he chooses to make our marriage his priority. All of his actions back that up.

Once we realized we needed to stop rushing things, it became a tad bit easier. It's still going to be a long work in process... we've decided we're in it for the long haul. I refer you over to the Infidelity board if you'd like to weigh in on my latest issue :laugh:
