Ratatoskr Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Hi all, I recently met this amazing girl online. We are from different countries and starting talking via private messages on an online forum. Just recently we were able to exchange skype information and have been talking there. We started talking roughly 2 weeks ago. She is very interesting, intelligent and overall seems to be an amazing person. I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on when and how I could ask her if she wanted to be more than friends? I'm 22, she's 19. I'm not extremely experienced with this whole dating thing, so any advice or recommendations would be greately appreciated!

If you want to have an online relationship then that is a different question in which I can't offer a suggestion on.

I think what he means is that they live in the same country, but their heritage/roots are different. Is that true Ratatoskr?
d0nnivain Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Online long distance relationships are troublesome. You two would have immigration issues on top of everything else. It's really hard to date somebody you can't even hug or kiss. I would exclusively tie myself to someone you have never met IRL. Meet 1st then worry about the next step. For now enjoy the conversations.

Until you see her in person, you have not met her. Advice/recommendations? Unless you are station in the antarctic or something, go find some girls that live where you do. If you use OLD to meet them, don't become emotionally invested in any until you meet them.
