I'm not very good at dating or knowing how to handle rejecting someone.

Problem: I went on a first date with a guy from an online dating site last night. It went fairly well. He made me laugh, which was nice. He texts me at 8:30 this morning. I wait an hour or two trying to convey that this isn't what I want. He continues to text all day although he does leave time in between texts. I respond intermittently. It's not even 5:00 and he's asked for a second date FOR TOMORROW!

I'm not looking for a serious relationship (just as my profile states explicitly). I'm also extremely busy (as my profile states explicitly). Should I just let him down now? I was all for a second date maybe next week to see where things went, but I'm a little worried by his behavior today. Thoughts? Advice?

Thanks in advance!

PS No, I'm not one of those women who would be complaining if he didn't call or text within a day or two. I prefer that.

Edited to add: he's also removed all of his photos from the OLD website.

Tell him you have plans for tomorrow but are free next week? :D It would at least slow things a bit. You might also want to say something to him when there's a chance to make sure you're both on the same page as far as how serious things are.

He texts all day but you reply to all of them? I used to message a girl 100 times a day but she was the same and used to reply all the time. Im guessing ur replying just to be polite?

Wait!

You`re on a dating site but yet not looking for a relationship.

You say in your profile you are busy thus have no time to date, but you dont want a relationship anyway.

You`re a time waster!

Get off the dating site so he can find a person that deserves him!

Why dont you go an find a penpal so he can date. Its unfair for him.
