RecordProducer Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 Books, TV, and internet have helped me. Also spending time with my children. If you don't have children, perhaps some charity work might help you, you'd feel useful and your mind would be occupied. Nothing can make you love him less like a new boyfriend, but it's not so easy to find someone that you will really like. What matters is to keep your mind busy. You should do something easy anf funny or even the opposite extreme - deal with other people's problems that are much bigger, but not something that reminds you of him. Working out is good for stress relief, but it's better to do it with someone else so you can not think of him. Go out with friends and have fun, but don't drink too much cuz the alcohol will make you crave for him even more. Hope this helps.
SinceIvebeenlovingU Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 Ummm I'm a guy who plays guitar and I know if I met a lady who shared the same musical love as I do ...I'd be very attracted to her...IMHO...
moon Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 I love hobbies. Here are some ideas: Start learning a new language. Find an English/? exchance. You teach them English, they teach you their language. These are usually free. I have one of these. We meet once a week. Knitting is cool. Learn how to do that. It keeps your mind busy. Take a cooking class. Re-learn the flute. Train for a marathon. Start writing your feelings down and make a short story. Join a volleyball, baseball, bowling (whatever) league. Join a book club. Take a painting class.
