timholton Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 just curious if thats possible. if you push a girl away from being to clingy which you realize you have been is there any way to show her you arent clingy and are working on it? itsnot that you dont rust her its that you just didnt realize it until you looked back and seen how bad you were
kendahke Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Usually, no... clinginess leaves a bad taste in the mouth that most would just soon forget. If you're still working on it, then it's not time for you to get back with anyone until it is resolved and done.

Sit back. Maintain communication and scaled way back. Light subject matter. Start with once a week for a while and gauge her reaction. If she's being receptive, reach out again. Until you start to feel comfortable about her attitude again. This is really difficult to get past though. So prepare yourself for possibly moving on. If you've been clingy, give tons and tons of space. Hit the reset button and date her the proper way again and don't push.
d0nnivain Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Anything you do -- other than simply stop -- will be perceived as continued clingy-ness. Let your actions shine by being secure & not chasing her.
preraph Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Any move to see or talk to her once you've been rejected as clingy is only more clingy. Talking to her to explain is just more clingy and not letting go. Let go and learn from this for the next person.
