Jay13094 Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 i know i shouldn't care what the hell my ex does and what he thinks but i can't help but be bothered by it. I ended things w/ him mainly cz he was seeing someone behind my back and was lying/dishonest etc. we only dated for 3 months, wasn't "official" just exclusive which to me is the same goddamn thing but apparently not (yeah I'm bitter lol). anyways, i deleted his number, instagram, fb, you name it. I don't know what the hell he does or what he's up to nor do i care to look cz we all know we stalking the ex is just bad news lol. But he still watches all my snap stories, follows me on instagram and like everything. I just don't get why someone that you aren't even friends w/ and he knows i don't want anything to do w/ him he cares to know what I'm doing. Basically my question is, would you take that as he's curious and he can't help but see what I'm up to. Or he just didn't like me that much and is fine with seeing what I'm doing- cz on my end watching what he's doing would just put me in a bad mood 1

candie13 Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Nope. Not friends on any social media with any of my exes - those I really care about or those I've been in RS with. I don't do Instagram... also I really like it. It's just... a can of warms I prefer to keep closed.

Once you are over them, it can be uplifting to see they: Picked a loser Are going nowhere in life Are looking old Aren't as prettu/young as your new chick Are just as crazy as before and now someone else is stuck with that You are way ahead of them financially when money was part of their issue That every business they open on their own fails, while every one they opened with me was a hit So social media is quite nice, actually, once you don't care. Proves i wasn't at fault for things she was complaining about... that she was dragging me down and holding me back. It's awesome to see "living well is the best revenge" working like a charm. :laugh: 4

There was one guy where I didn't have that long of a relationship with so I left him as my friend thinking maybe later down the line we could still remain friends (not close obviously) but I had the feeling he was leaving me as a friend but hiding all his photos/posts from me. He was the kind who updated all the time so my instincts went into effect when his page got eerily quiet not soon after we broke up. I didn't like myself wondering about this so I just decided to unfriend him in the end. What's the point of being friends if you are going to just hide everything. I guess he was uncomfortable being open with me after our breakup but didn't have it in him to just unfriend me.

grokcahsevol Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 I unfollowed my ex from facebook and all of our mutual friends, so I wont see their updates or pictures. I think by not deleting them, it shows you are stronger. While on the topic, not trying to hijack your thread, but how come my ex hasn't removed any of our pictures from her facebook? I know she has the time to do it. Also, is it possible to somehow not have their name show up when you search for someone else with the SAME name without blocking them?
