More support in regards to what?

Coming out or having a fetish.

Oh, you meant compared to each other? I misread and assumed you meant as opposed to people who are straight and/or have no fetishes.

I think it all depends on the persons support group (friends and family) and is pretty hard to generalise. Some people have it really tough "coming out", but I imagine there are plenty of fetishes people are afraid to reveal too.

Too dificult to compare the two without more details.

But then someone bisexual can't speak for someone with a fetish and someone with a fetish can't speak for someone who's gay or bisexual etc. Hmmm.

Why do you assume this is some sort of global agreement?

Are all/any "fringe" groups more supportive than mainstream groups...for some reason...?

People are people, whatever their inclinations, and are supportive, or not, depending on their individual personalities, not by virtue of being in some sort of club.
