fluidian Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 At what point does the steam die down in a healthy relationship? At what point is it no longer all that common to be ripping each other's clothes off when you see them and having sex 10+ times/week with incessant making? If age matters - imagine a the couple is in their mid-30s with no children in the picture...
d0nnivain Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 It varies. Some people can keep that up for a lifetime (well maybe a little cooler in that they make it to the bedroom rather then the kitchen counter)
DaisyBug Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Infatuation is said to last 2 years, but then again that is an old statistic. Bet it's much shorter now with the popularity of social media, etc. Too many distractions.
ScotchBeef Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 i think it varies from person to person and relationship to relationship. My first serious relationship lasted 2 years, but we moved in together after a few months and the "spark went out" long before it ended. In contrast, another relationship which lasted about 2 years was still fiercely passionate at the end.
yxalitis Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Take a length of time, multiply it by 12.5 Divide by your mother's age when you were born Add the number of digits in your bank account number to the balance. Voila! No, you're welcome!
