carm_en Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Met this guy online 3 times in 3 months. The first 2 times he initiated, the 3rd date I initiated. On the 3rd date we drank quite a lot and he said he just wants to have fun. 3rd date got a little intimate but we didn't have sex. He hasn't texted me or initiated contact about another date. I want more than "fun." I should move on so I don't get hurt right? I guess I should appreciate him being honest and open about his intentions. I just need some advice here.
Perrier Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Three meetings in three months is not dating. I would not waste my time.

If constantly chasing the highs of someone that just wants you for your body will 'hurt you', then yes, stop trying. Good manipulators keep women on the hook. They provide as many lows as possible so that the 'high' of seeing them becomes an addiction.
mg101 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 The fact that you initiated the 3rd date and he said he just wanted to have fun during it means just that. The frequency doesn't rise to dating anyway. If you want something serious, leave it alone or if he does initiate and you go out, no more wild drinking and make out sessions. That just sends the signal you're up for "fun." 1
caringsister Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Do yourself a favor ... lose his number. If he calls you in the future ignore his call. You two clearly are not on the same page. He wants fun ... you want more and if you compromise your needs for his wants you'll end up getting hurt by this guy. No doubt he's a hit and run kinda guy.
