I have been dating an amazing guy for 3.5 months. I feel like he might be the one! Things moved really fast and I told him we should take it one step at a time when he started talking about kids and houses and meeting his daughter. I can tell he really wants it to work out with us.

He tells me frequently "I adore you" which is adorable but I think it's his way of saying he loves me without saying those actual words. I'm feeling that I love him but I want him to say it first since... well he would be so cute I just want to see him to do it first :o Is there some other way for me to say I love him without the pressure of the actual words? He's already got the "I adore you" which is perfect! Do you know of anything else like that?

I'm 28 and he's 31 so yes we are mature adults.

That is exactly what I adore you means

It means I love you, but I'm not sure if it would freak you out if I said it. Try texting him back I adore you too but put it in quotes like this

I "adore" you too

I think you should wait and meet his daughter....that is going to be crucial point in your relationship. If his daughter accepts you, and looks like you can be a family unit then I'm sure he will say it.......he can't be invested unless you hit it off with his daughter.

It sounds like you are right on the edge of it, to be sure. But wait until HE says it first other than "I adore you".
