Angeleyez2583 Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 So now it turns out the ex is going to take CPR classes with me. I was not expecting that. He was going to help me move, and then I was going to let him go. Now he's taking these classes with me. What should I say to him the last night of classes I see him? I still care about him. I mean it's hard to lose feelings for someone that fast. It doesn't help I have to see him every other day. I am getting over him, but I still like having him in my life at the same time. Classes are now over, and finals week is approaching. In class we flirt. Once again, the only reason he broke up with me is because of the drinking that night. I quit drinking for good. He knows this. He's said how proud he was of me twice. He says comments to try and make me "jealous", and of course I react without thinking about it. Like Friday. I had a cold sore, a few weeks ago (those pesky things are very annoying). And draws HSV-1 on my notebook paper and points an arrow to me. I go "yeah, I got it from bob's (changing the name) gf". And he goes, I made out with her. I'm like.. when we were dating, and of course he says.. yeah I did and laughs. I go.."are you serious" and he goes... no i'm messing with you. (just an example). WHy do guys pull that stuff? Maybe it's because I've met a lot of new people. i've been going out and trying to live my life without him. I think he might be noticing that. So basically it's like we're good friends, with some kind of tension still there. What do I say to him the last night I see him? I wrote him a goodbye letter. Should I just say bye and give it to him. Not give it to him. Maybe I should just kiss him and see what happens (lol). Or just say bye and leave it at that. I know he's a guy. And I know if he wants me back he'll let me know (he is stubborn) . But what signs/actions should I notice if he still really cares about me or not? Sorry for all the questions, but I just want to know what everyone would do if they were in my shoes or in my ex's. Thanks :-)

I wanna have time to get over him as well, but I think what I realize I miss about him most is being able to talk to him. Maybe I miss the fact that he was my best friend. I really would like to remain friends with him, but I need to be over him completely before that can happen. So yeah, I should just let him go. Maybe he'll end up missing me if I never text him again and act like I'm over him. Maybe he won't. I'm going to be starting school at the end of may with my second major, and that is going to keep me very busy. I've never once begged him back and I am a firm believer in "if he really loves me he'll realize that and let me know". Anyway, thanks for helping me to realize I need to stick to my guns! You guys are awesome!
