Calidude6 Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Obviously she still has a little care to tell me happy birthday and have an amazing day. I said thank you and I'm having a great time. I wanted to really do this NC strong for myself but was it bad that I replied back?
TaraMaiden2 Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 In a word? Definitely. (SHE didn't 'break' your NC. You did.) 2
Satu Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 No she didn't. You did. *No direct contact in either direction. No sending or receiving of messages. No replies. Block any means she might use to contact you. *No indirect contact through third parties. *De-friend or delete from all social media. *No monitoring of her on social media. *No 'little birds' feeding you news. *Tell people that you don't want to know anything about what she is doing or saying. Take care.
Simon Phoenix Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 (edited) No Contact is a personal thing, not a team thing. She can't break your No Contact, only you can. And you did. I realize the two posters above me said the same thing, but it boggles my mind that people think No Contact is a two-person endeavor. The whole point of it is to come to grips with the situation ALONE and move forward for YOURSELF. Edited June 26, 2015 by Simon Phoenix 1
