Popsicle Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Romantically, Five years ago. I miss being in love. 1
deadelvis Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 I know this is a little off topic (I say ILY to my GF at least 10 times a day) I once raised an orphaned fawn. When I raised that beautiful little creature I realized I had used the word love for so many years without really understanding what it meant. I bottle fed her and she slept in my bed at night. We became inseparable. Sometimes when we were playing in the forest I would suddenly burst into tears. That was the only times in my life I have ever wept out of happiness. I'm not sure I will ever love anyone or anything the way I loved that little deer. 2
Author candie13 Posted July 12, 2015 Author Posted July 12, 2015 Romantically, Five years ago. I miss being in love. Romantically, I've said it 3 months ago. Once. It wasn't returned - and no, thee was no happy ending there. Except for that, it's also been 5 years. 5 or 6 years.
Author candie13 Posted July 12, 2015 Author Posted July 12, 2015 Twice this morning, when we woke up, and 10 minutes ago when she left for work. Will hear and say it at least twice more, when she gets home and when we got to bed, but will likely hear or say without being prompted. pfffff, you're such a show off ! now go say it to her a few more times for me as well !
Brigit_1 Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 DH & I shared I love yous a few minutes ago when I came home from a meeting. Last time I told my husband I loved him was earlier today. We were just kicking back drinking wine and watching Rookie Blue. Having an easy Sunday and doing much of nothing. 1
katinlc Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 This morning as my husband headed off for work. Though we've only been married a month, so there's a lot of I love you's going around right now lol. 1

I love them all, but my first dog as an adult that I rescued off the street had the best I have to offer. We saved each other. She will always be special and I hope she is waiting for me when I pass over, and hope your deer is too.
autumnnight Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Last night on the phone with my parents. Wait, I probably said it to my dog in that annoying babytalk voice y kids hate...... 1
Ruby Slippers Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 My boyfriend and I said it to each other last night after some terrific sex and before bed. Our relationship is fairly new, but he said I love you very early on, and I didn't doubt it because I truly felt the love and admiration oozing out of him. I took a while longer to say it, but he didn't let that stop him from expressing himself, which I respect. He tells and shows me he loves me in many ways every day. He recently surprised me when I returned from a short trip by jumping out from behind the airport gate all dressed up with an armful of red roses. I felt like a queen Now that I've found him, I'm so glad I let the previous not-quite-right relationships go. 2
carhill Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Updating most recent to best friend in advance of his pre-surgical consult to fix some of the damage that happened to him when he impacted the window of my truck when a lady hit us at full road speed. I still feel a bit guilty about that. Should have known she was coming. Must be slipping in old age. He'll need surgery and anesthesia and stuff can go sideways when one is out. Never know. Hence the hugs and words of support.
gaius Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 This morning. I can't see her in person until Friday and it's already driving me bonkers. 2
