heartshappedglasses Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 I have been using OLD, okcupid mostly, since a while and the same thing happens over and over on okcupid: I always get atleast on visitor every two minutes and atleast like 25 replies/message ever hour. I got 256 messages in 1 day. But then evertime, after a few days, no message and no visitors. Nothing. People who I have been chatting with, no reply. No single visitor. No new message. That does not make sense and I am pretty sure it's a glitch. Also heard from others that this happens. I even asked a friend to message me on okcupid and I didnt receive it. Can someone explain this? And nope my inbox isn't fulll.

LookAtThisPOst Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Also, quite a few fake profiles...usually you can tell this because they have nothing written in their profiles but just the stats. Sometimes they'll put a single paragraph in the first entry and that's it.

It's been an ongoing experiment which has demonstrated how awful most of us are. And on another note, 256 messages in one day?! Wow. This nonsense is so asymmetric. 1
petsrule Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 I found everyone on OK Cupid who messaged me would send me highly suggestive messages and they all came across as trolls or creeps so I ended up deleting my account there. I'm not going back.
