I hope my story helps peopleand I hope I get constructive feedback from people on this blog. I do not wantto sound as a victim so I would like to go into as much details as possible.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]Myself: currently 30 years old, I graduated from Universityback in 2009. I am a stubborn individual that believes strongly in hisconvictions. I am laid back and love to have fun but I am also shy. Used tohave substance abuse problems. I grew up overseas but came to North Americawhen I was 16. I have been battling a genetic disorder ever since I was 10 and Iwas finally diagnosed recently and take medication which has helped me live anormal life after 15+ years.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]Parents: fairly religious, they come from a Muslim background,although ever since I was 14/15 years old I started to distance myself fromtheir values and beliefs a lot which caused a lot of friction between me and myparents. I am not religious what so ever and I feel comfortable living the lifeI live.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]XGF: currently 26, she went to school as well. She can be selfishbut she is also independent and a strong women. She is healthy but has adrinking problem. She is down to earth and caring. She tends to believe she is notreligious but yet she does call herself as an Orthodox. She came to NorthAmerica when she was 11.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]XGF parents: comes from a religious Orthodox back ground,parents are racist to all religions thinking Christianity is the only goodreligion out there.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]2007: started working in a retail store where I met her,always thought she was attractive nothing more or less. We used to have greatdebates and conversations but as I said did not really think of her muchalthough we did click as friends. At that time she had a BF which frequentedthe store pretty often. [/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]2008: on night in Feb I was going to a rave and I mentionedto her so she said she would come with a friend. I met her at the club with myfriends and her friends, that night she had her BF with her. May of that yearwe went out with our coworkers and her friends to a bar, her and her friendstarted dancing with me, never really thought of it much. Next day my co-workergoes that girl might have something for you and the next day she messaged measking if I felt awkward when her and her were dancing with me. I didn’t thinkof the message much until my co-worker told me she had a thing for me. Anywayslong story short we saw each other and hooked up. That summer I left for a longvacation and would message her every week. I came back in September andmessaged her so we started seeing each other lightly. [/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]She later admitted how she used to ask to be scheduled in towork when I was working while she was still dating her XBF.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]2009: We were still working at the retail store, I landed aninternship that summer where I met a girl, and we fooled around for a couple ofmonth. During that summer I also moved out of my parents’ house. My “gf” atthat time kind sensed something was off anyways I stopped fooling around withthe girl at work completely. Ever since I have not fooled around what so everwith any girl. However, she always reminded me of this incident every time wefought.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]During this year we started sleeping at each other place,she was still living with her parents but I would sleep over when they were onthe road working. I would drop her brother to school almost every day. [/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]During the same year she had an abortion because we couldn’treally approach our parents nor handle the responsibility, it was very toughfor her to go through it.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]She was going through rough times with her parents as shefought with them a lot. She was short on cash to continue school so I was ableto offer her financial help to finish off her schooling.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]She was very much into me during this year and hinted atgetting married. Don’t get me wrong I was into her as well but not that much.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]2010: I got a FT job and continued living on my own, she wasgoing through her last year of her university. We started partying and usingdrugs a lot during this year and moving forward up she called it off this year.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]Things between me and her were going great, she would sleepat my house all the time and hated her parents.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]She had guy friends but I was never the jealous type what soever so I let her be. She used to check my FB and phone all the time but I neverdid that to her. She had a reason because of the past year but even before shealways wanted to find out what I was going.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]During this year I started distancing myself a lot from my friendsto a point where I started just to hang out with her and she more or less wasgoing the same.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]2011: she finished school and landed a FT job, we went on avacation that summer and loved every minute of it, during this year she also introducedme to her parents as an “orthodox” that was her idea. Her parents loved me andrespected me, used to hang out with them on weekends.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]When we came back from vacation she suggested we move in so Iagreed, I also changed jobs during that year. Things were going great betweenus.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]My parents flipped and stopped talking to me for monthsbecause I moved in with her but also at that time they never met her or knewabout her. Anyways, theystarted accepting the idea by force because of the fear of not losing me I guess.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]During summer just before we left on vacation her mom foundout my actual background and made sure to do everything in her power movingforward to break us up. She made sure she portrayed me as a devil to her dad soher dad would hate me. Her dad never found out the truth until recently butalways questioned the mom why the sudden switch in attitude towards me. So herdad also did everything in his power to break us up. My X never really gave inand kept strong although they didn’t talk for about 3 month.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]Things began to stabilize but her mom would always try to manipulateher.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]Towards the end of the year I was promised a promotion atwork but never got it so I was very depressed and caused hell at home.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]In addition, we started partying a lot that year to a pointwhere we started organizing parties.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]2013: my job became so unbearable that I was let go during thatyear, it was devastating to go through it, my X did not really fully grasp whatI went though and never really was full there for me I hope I’m wrong but saidto say I’m not.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]My X loves travelling and was feeling down how we can’t goon a vacation that year so I wanted so bad to take her on one and I wanted togo on one too. Five weeks after I was let go from my job I found a job andasked my X to take the following week off from work if she can so we can go onvacation anyways we did go on one. I hate to admit it but I wasn’t mentally invacation mode thinking if I had accepted an offer to quickly later on duringthe vacation I decided not to pursue the new job. My X to this day brings up tome how I wasn’t mentally their while on vacation.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]Towards the end of the year I had found a job and she was upfor a promotion. This time it was me that was not supportive of her and the promotionso that caused a lot of friction between us.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]2014: Jan was my birthday somehow during that month I foundout from messages that she went for lunch with a guy she slept with back in theday so that caused me to start being insecure about myself. Also, she wouldmessage her guy coworkers during the weekend from the morning while we werestill in bed again that caused me to start developing doubt which caused insecurity. As I look back at it I was wrong in a way.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]From that point on I was acting a bit off at times checkingher FB, phone etc…. basically I turned into her when we first starting dating.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]Her parents had an extremely hectic year dealing with hersiblings. Her brother and sister got into tremendous amount of problems whichare pretty destructive. I didn’t stand by her side as much during those times.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]Towards the end of the year we signed a new lease togetherbut she was acting very offish during the end of the year, I didn’t reallythink of it that much because I thought her changing careers was tough on herso I let her be but because I was developing insecurities I meddled in herbusiness a lot.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]Also, during the year she started hanging out with not thebest of friends and was slowly drifting. She would act really cold towards meat times.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]2015: In March she slowly withdrew and finally pulled theplug. I did the begging and pleading etc… even lead to fights and insults. Whenshe was breaking up with me I found out she was talking to married guy she hadmet late 2014 and he was giving her advice on how to break up with me.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]We did see each other for a couple of weeks after she leftbut she was playing with my emotions a lot that I had to stop seeing her. Also,we got into a major fight over the phone.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]She always said how she met me when she was 19 etc… and madeseem like life has more to offer. I still want the girl but she’s not havingit. I’m doing my best to focus on my life and move forward.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][sIZE=3]I still have some denial in me but if things are meant to behopefully one day we can start a new page. I have been reminding her from timeto time. We have been on low contact for the past month now.[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][sIZE=3] [/sIZE][/FONT]
