bicyclejunk Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 i've actually heard good and bad about working your stomach muscles EVERYDAY. I've heard that the muscles in the stomach are very "dense" matter so, it's okay to constantly work them. I read in Bruce Lee workoutbooks and older 80's kinda books that it's okay to do sit-ups and crunches and all other stomach muscle exercises, everyday. Is this true? Because i've also heard you shouldn't work them everyday, because you need to give the muscles time to heal.
laRubiaBonita Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 you can/ do work them everyday....just do not OVER-work them everyday, that woulkd be when you would need to rest them....after a hard isolated ab work out.
ConfusedInOC Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 I work mine out 3x a week but very intensely with four different excercises and it seems to be working well for me. The six pack is starting to come in very well, just need to lose a little more babyfat and get a tan! I think this works better for me than 5x a week.
HotCaliGirl Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 I work them a few days in a row, then give them a couple days off to heal and build up. I don't get as good results if I work them every day or every other day...
