Goodking Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I have two wonderful girls to choose from, they are both informed of me seeing one another. Girl 1 and I get on great, I feel like she's someone I could connect with on a deep personal level but girl 2 seems as if she has everything figured out and would always treat me properly/be there for me. I need to make a decision soon as I can't morally let this continue to go on with both. They both make me feel great, girl 1 isn't as emotional as girl two and is a little more withdrawn with feelings/harder to get answers out of (maybe because of girl 2) whereas girl 2 is happy go lucky and will easily hash out any situation. My friends all say girl 2 is the obvious option for where I'm at in life and that girl 1 is someone I have fun with but I feel indifferent. Girl 1 makes me strive for the things I want to accomplish, her and I could really "grow together" where girl 2 is amazing, but is further ahead, she offers stability and certainty. What kind of things should I take into consideration before making the decision is my question?
mystikmind2005 Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Well, i had a similar situation, but i kept it simple,,,, the one which i had met first was the one i chose. Then it was a simple thing to tell the other girl that she is not being rejected because of who she was but it was just a matter of timing, and i had met the other girl first.

What kind of things should I take into consideration before making the decision is my question? What do you want out of this relationship? That's the first question to answer. Who do you feel you are more compatible with, overall? From your post, it seems like you have more of a connection with #1, but more security with #2. Which is more important to you? Connection or security?
Tribble Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 If all your friends say #2, why are you not following their advise? Ever played the coin flipping game? Two choices and you flip, however you feel about the answer you'll know what YOU really want. Are you disappointed your friends say #2? Do you secretly want them to say #1? If so, you have your answer. If you agree with them just find it difficult to let go of #1, you have the answer too. It is hard making a decisions and the what ifs, but you have to, you're clearly not enjoying the indecision at the moment. Whoever you decide though, put your all in and forget about the other girl. 1

I'm going to add to this - your friends are telling you that #1 is fun, but you're indifferent. You're obviously not indifferent. Go with your gut (and I think your gut is pointing toward the person you feel you can grow with and connect on a deep, personal level, but that's just me).
Gaeta Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 When you hear your phone ring you hope it's 1 or 2? It's like you are dismissing the most important, which one makes you weak in the knees! 1
