Hi! I am a 19 year old college student. My whole life I have been "chubby" I started exercising my senior year of high school and have lost about 15 pounds since. Im losing weight the safe and slow way. I run about 4-5 miles every day and I am still enjoying the foods I use to eat, just in moderation.

Since I started working out I have noticed my calf muscles are growing every day!! I am not embarassed at the fact that they are so huge, I am just concerned because the rest of my body is in shape and slim, but my calf muscles are not porpotional to the rest of my body. I am wondering if there is anything I can do to reduce the size of my calves.

I understand any type of exercise is going to make them bulky, but is there any cardio workouts that would not target my calf muscles as much as running/jogging does?

Thanks!

Are you in college? If so, you may want to speak to someone in the athletics department or possibly speak to a personal trainer if they have a gym on campus for advice. Anyone that works with exercise should be able to give you some insight.
