well,

My ex and i have broken up its been over 2 weeks and she works for a company that i manage, the situtation is that i want to keep the NC but she is calling me every other day on workrelated issues and then swithching over to personal stuff, I kindly let her speak breifly and then tell her i have another call or another client or in meetings, how do i get rid of this, im the only contacat she has when it comes to the work she does.

i want to stop talking with her about work and everthing and move one already, but im scared that me not taking her calls could jeperdize my account were she works.

Please help.

You have to let her talk about whatever. You are her manager. Anything that you do to further piss her off at this point will result in her claiming sexual harassment because you are management & she's an employee. If I were you, I'd tell HR what is going on & start job hunting.

The most you can possibly do is after she starts on the personal stuff, gently interrupt, thank her for bringing the work stuff to you attention but say you have to go because you have a deadline, another call, a meeting or some other work excuse. Good luck.

Well, the good thing here is that she does not accutly work in the same building as i do. so there wont be any sexual harasment or anything inthat nature, she works at a company that i work with and happends to be the daughter of the owner. and now she is handling a department that we created for her to work and the only person that knows how to do the work and proper handling with the banks is me, but it seems that she is calling with excuses of workrelated intensions but really seeing what im up to asking questions about wht im doing, i just kindly tell her that im on another call or something work related not to show her im cutting her off, im keeping it ver profesional tha e thingi is i want to cold turkey her and move on and with these :workrelated issues i wont be able and she also said for us to be friends!!!

That's one of the reason to not date someone work related.
