Popsicle Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Assuming both people are quiet? I'm just trying to imagine what happens if neither one is wanting or able to carry the conversation.... How does it typically work for a quiet person?
Author Popsicle Posted June 13, 2015 Author Posted June 13, 2015 They enjoy the quiet time together. I meant when first getting to know each other.
Eternal Sunshine Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 They usually date someone outgoing who does most of the talking. 1
Emilia Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Indirect communication is vastly under rated in the West. Dating non westerners taught me that. Looks, gestures, the eyes. Amazing what you can do with eyes. 1
LoveMachine67 Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 It can be difficult... I'm a naturally quiet person. It helps me to find some interest, with my new lady and start building conversations around that interest. There can still be awkward moments, but it's something both people have to work at. Try finding something that your new guy is passionate about, and get him to go into great detail in telling you about it, while you ask questions. Then you do the same with your some of your interests, whether he asks you to or not. Hopefully it does not turn boring for the either of you, but the idea is just to jump start conversation and keep it going.
