I finally did it! :D

I finally got all the rest of my ex's stuff out of my house and into a storage facility. The lady there even put it under his name after the friend I had brought with me told her why I wanted to put his stuff there. Apparently, her ex had also cheated on her and abused her so she understood and seemed really happy to help me get him completely out of my life.

After I had gotten everything packed in there and got back to my place I sent him a text and emailed his two email accounts with the information he'll need to go get it. Right after that, I reblocked him on my phone and blocked both his email accounts.

He's finally totally out of my life and I am so, so relieved. I feel free and like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I hadn't realized how much wondering when he was going to contact me to come get his stuff was stressing me out until that stress was removed.

Now I can fully move forward with my life and it feels good

YAY! About time!

But I still think you're too nice for paying to put his stuff in a storage facility. Lol

Yeah, a month was a bit too long to wait to finally do it. Could've saved myself a lot of stress and anxiety if I would've just nutted up and did it the day after I kicked his cheating behind out lol.

It was a pretty cheap storage space, however. There really wasn't all that much to put in there so it was just a tiny one (and I think the lady in the office have me a bit of a discount too). Either way, the cost is well worth the peace of mind knowing that I will never have to talk to him again :)

Good for you !! I just gave her stuff to the rescue mission, but I might have been a little bitter ?

Thank you! And oh trust me, the thought did cross my mind to just take it all to my friend's acreage and have a bonfire with it lol. I didn't for two reasons: 1) I wanted to be a better person than both him and the one I was while I was with him, and 2) He can be a vindictive sonofab*tch and it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for him to come after me for it. But now it's over and I can finally move on completely! :D

I wouldn't let it sit in there too long. I say give him a month, or two tops, then go get it and throw it out. By then it should be perfectly legal for you to do so.

It's under his name and they have all his contact info so if he doesn't go get it they'll come after him for payment if it's there longer than a month and he doesn't pay the rental fee for a second month. They're not really supposed to allow it to be put under someone else's name, but I guess she felt bad for me. If he doesn't pick it up within a month they'll go all storage wars on it lol.
