Gary S Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Match would be the first one you should check out. Might depend on where you are though.
d0nnivain Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 It will vary from person to person, who you are & what you are looking for. Some people swear by the free ones. Others like the biggest sites. Some like the convenience & casual nature of things like Tinder. Years ago when I tried it, I was on e-harmony because it was expensive & a p.i.t.a. to get through all those Qs I assumed correctly that most people who only wanted a causal fling wouldn't go through all that trouble & expense. If I were to have to try again, I think I'd try one of the smaller more specific sites geared toward a select group of people with common interests. I read an article in a business magazine that said, these niche sites are the wave of the future for the industry. (The article was focused on profitability of the business model, not whether people found love) Also you have to remember, OLD is but one tool. Your best bet is to go a combo of OL & in person activities to try to make a genuine connection.
