I've been seeing this girl and every time we're together she's always answering calls from "clients". She claims that she's a massage therapist but the conversations always sound peculiar.

 

I only ever hear one side of it but a typical conversation goes something like this...

 

Her: Hi, this Sharice.

 

Client: XXXXXXXXXX

 

Her: I could do 8pm tonight.

 

Client: XXXXXXXXXX

 

Her: Well what exactly were you looking for?

 

Client: XXXXXXXXXX

 

Her: Well that will be $300 for 30 minutes.

 

Client: XXXXXXXXXX

 

Her: That would be extra.

 

Client: XXXXXXXXXXX

 

Her: Okay, text me your address.

 

Often when I try to engage her in intimacy she says that shes too "tired and sore from work". I also got a massage from her once and it was pretty bad. I couldn't see someone paying $300 for it to be honest.

 

I'm not sure what to do? Am I just being paranoid?

I don't know if I'm in denial or what. She does have a massage table in her car and she did go to school for massage therapy. I really like her so I'm hoping I'm just being paranoid.

After re-reading my post I think I made it sound worse than it is. I didn't exaggerate but when taken out of context like that it sounds pretty bad.

 

She is from a good family and nothing else about her or her past would lead me to think that she's a sex worker.

Actually many girls from good families are into being escorts these days. It's a lot of money for little work, and especially when they have to move away for college, university or whatever they don't want to cut back on their lifestyle. And frankly, many girls will never earn as much money in a regular job as a prostitute (kind of like one bad decision after the other - especially when they pick careers that will barely get you food on your platter, as was the case in a story I read from an escort).

 

Tough situation. I understand these girls' need to keep it a secret because otherwise they'd be shunned by everyone - but working like this while in a relationship or dating is quite bad. That one Jerry Springer show in which a baby turnd out to be the secret sugar daddy's instead of the boyfriends was quite... ew. Be aware that for a few extra dollars many won't mind having unprotected sex with their clients.

This thread is a ruse but I will engage anyway....A massage therapist would say everything in the OP except that it cost $300 for 30 mins. No 30 min or even an hour massage costs that much. Prostitutes, however, do charge $300 an hour.

The question is...does it matter to you?

Before you all jump up and down...yes, unbelievable as it sounds, hookers are people too, they meet people outside of work, go on dates, fall in love, marry, have children. At some point in that chain they will give up the game, when is up to how comfortable they feel with their partner, and their financial situation.

 

The issue I have is that she hasn't told you, so I guess t's fairly early on...I would give her a chance to tell you directly, the fact that she isn't hiding her conversations from you is an indication that she is either stupid, or dropping hints in your earshot, so you can work it out.

 

Put it this way, if next time you met, she sat you down and told you..would you break up with her?
