I don't understand why he thought I didn't show enough interest. I feel he didn't give me enough sign that he was interested in me, for me to show him interest back. He would ask boring questions and call/text rarely.

 

If there had been any potential, you would be planning your next date. Don't look for reasons to blame yourself or him for the lack of spark. It happens. When it's right, it's actually hard to stop it. When it's wrong, there isn't anything you can do. Don't torment yourself. It shouldn't have been so fragile.

Ok I've decided to not talk to him anymore. I deleted his number. It wasn't going anywhere. We were not on the same page.

I know, this whole time I've been confused and asking myself the same question. Why would someone bother talking if they don't plan on anything to happen? Sheesh. It's not only odd to me, but also a waste of my time and energy because I was hoping for something to happen!

 

sounds like a catfish to me. Have you two skyped/facetimed? Have you seen his voice coming out of his mouth?

 

Tell him you want to meet him by the end of the week. If he hems and haws or procrastinate/put you off, then hang up on him in that moment and block him. He has no intention on taking things any further than they've gone.

Too late, we are not talking anymore. I deleted his number and I doubt he is going to contact me again. He hasn't contacted me since our last serious conversation on text, I'm pretty sure we've both walked away from each other here.
