Sarah2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Hi, So I just moved to a new city and I met this guy online a few days ago. We started texting right away. We texted a lot (mostly about work and family stuff) etc. Apparently he has a very busy work life (he is a manager in finance). So he didn't text for two days and juts texted early this morning saying he was busy w work (hence the delay). I may only be mildly interested in him for now...do I bother texting back? (To be clear, I didn't send him anything during that time either). *Oh, and he was "online" during that period.
deathandtaxes Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 If he hasn't asked you out on a date by now, he's only mildly interested in you, too. you're probably a back pocket option right now. next this one

SunnySide0418 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Actually he already did in the beginning but I never really gave a definitive answer lol but we continued talking Well then he's getting bored and checking out his other options who are interested in meeting.
ExpatInItaly Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 If he already asked you out and you gave a wishy-washy answer, he's probably assumed you're not very interested and thus he's now checking out other options. Do you not want to meet him?

Do you not want to meet him? I would agree. And he's keeping in some contact just in case. If you want to date him give him a definite answer, or ask him out youself
misspond Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Text is text. It means nothing at this point so go ahead. 1
TunaCat Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 . is there a such thing as a lady who isn't into games? doubt it. Wrong! I don't play games. Never have and never will. If I am interested in someone, I am direct and I accept the date as long as I don't have any previous plans. If I am not interested in someone, I just tell them that I am not interested in them and that they should keep looking.
smackie9 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Obviously you have different expectations, so why waste your time.
