Sorry couldnt resist, :p

I waited 2 days before replying and was to the point, i doubt she got what she was after, i know what youre saying tho i should have given her nothing.

In fact, you might have given her even more of a boost by doing that. She now knows you are trying to play the same lame games she's playing. There was no reason to answer that. And she didn't break your NC, you broke your NC by responding. No Contact is an individual thing, not a team thing.

The truth was i had an important interview to sit and didnt want to enter into a conversation with her because i didnt want her on my mind, or i most likely would have messaged back sooner :/

I hope thats not the case Pheonix, i hope she thinks im too busy and have other priorities, but i suppose i'll never know.

I need to stop caring but its difficult.

I now know not to bother responding its done nothing but set me back.

If you were to leave a message, and they delete it without responding or returning your call, Contact is not established...If someone picks up, and says hello, THEN you have established contact. Contact is only established when there is a response.

So if some poor guy is dumped, and he sits around for 30 days trying to do no contact, but he loses his willpower and on day 31 he calls her up and leaves her a heartfelt sobbing message begging her to come back to him, if she reads the message, and then deletes it without responding, he can pat himself on the back because according to your definition, he has not, in fact, broken the no contact rule, because "contact was not established"?

Alrighty then..Let's just agree that our definitions of "contact" significantly differ.

I wasn't telling him otherwise.

I just pointed out what No Contact means.

That part of my post was not directed at you.
