Eh, well, it was a good guess?

So what have you decided to do, now that you know she has a boyfriend?

Well I had invited her to hang out this weekend, to which she had agreed before telling about her boyfriend. It sounds like she is trying to downplay the fact she's in relationship by saying "it's been too long" and changing subject. I agree she is probably one of these girls who get into a serious relationship at an early age and let themselves being dragged over the years swamped in boredom. She might be looking for a reason to leave her bf, or just looking for attention. I wish she would have metioned it at the beginning she had plenty of opportunities to disclose it.

But I took the decision to stay out of it.

This is the age of social media. Whether people like it or not, social media can play a huge role in relationships. There's a difference between stalking a person and overanalyzing everything and bring concerned they have an empty Facebook page. I would have thought it was a red flag too, and of course it turned out to be! I'm sorry things turned out that way, at least you found out sooner rather than later.

Good decision. You dodged a bullet there my friend.
