Should I not meet this guy from OLD? According to my research, he solicited a hooker.

I was talking to this guy from okcupid, we exchanged numbers and have plans on meeting up sometime next week...Anyway, I decided to do some research. I googled his number and it brought up a website-"exposing johns." And it had his phone number, picture, and full name-and a picture of a text message he "supposedly" sent to some hooker. I was like wth? Its a site where anyone can anonymously report someone. Is it even a legit site? And I checked his facebook-it seemed normal..plus the fact that he's friends with all these hot girls...

What does your instinct say? Trust your gut. Ask yourself if you feel comfortable enough asking him about that site, if he is a victim of revenge porn.

Anyone can put a phone number on that site. So no, it's not legitimate at all. Also, someone else could have had his phone number before he did and maybe that person saw prostitutes.

The site is registered to a domain in India, and in order for the person to get their profile removed from the page, they have to pay a $99 fee. That's a scam, my friend. Next time google the site if you're so keen on googling people before you date them (not that I blame you for that, especially with online encounters).

 

You should probably tell him about this, too.
