futuregopher
So we met up for dinner and drinks and I thought things went well. I've been out of the dating game for a while so I'm not exactly sure how to read things. I always assume attraction but it sometimes goes wrong haha. So I asked her out a second time but she said "can't do this weekend since parents are visiting but maybe another day?" Does this mean she is still interested in meeting up? I understand that if she just said "can't do this weekend" and left it at that, then it would mean she's not interested so I would be okay with moving on. But I've read online that the alternate arrangement/her counter offer must be something more concrete like "oh I can't this monday but how about coffee thursday?". The second example has an activity AND a day so that's how it is different. Or is it different? So is she still interested in another rendezvous? Thank you LS!

Methodical
She countered for another day, which means she's interested. Otherwise, she'd have simply said she was busy and left it at that.
