Ok, so in my story, I was the cheater, and the girl found out. 5 year relationship.

She called me to tell me she'd just "revenge-banged" a mutual acquaintance, and then gave me a rash of **** for being a cheater. All of it was well deserved.

The truth is that I didn't care either way, and I was glad to be free of her.

But I did respect her when it was all said and done.

So, don't be afraid to get a little nasty and stand up for yourself. You've got nothing to lose.

Did you ever apologise for what you did? Did you ever try to get back with her?

This girl cheated on you dude, ignore her and forget she ever existed. She doesn't deserve the time of day. Why have a conversation and beg for someone back who would disrespect you so much?

She is not worth any more of your time or thoughts.

Almost all Dumpers feel sad about what happened - it doesn't mean that they want you back. I cried like a baby at all kinds of movies for 2 months after I split up (dumped is a harsh word - I don't like using it!) with my GF.

Can you arrange a friend/etc to resolve the ring return issue?

Apart from that, no more contact, no more pleading, no more wanting an apology - it would be BS and make no difference, no more hoping she will take you back - she won't, and even if she did, it would end up with her cheating again.

Yes when it happened he didn't care. I wanted to know how he felt 2-3 months after.

Got it. Hoping I can get this NC thing going on for good now. I only could hold it for two weeks.
