I will ask her about her day, what she's up to tomorrow etc. and she'll literally answer my questions without asking me anything in return, which makes conversation painful. This is the polar opposite to how she is IRL, conversation and laughter just naturally flow without any issue at all. She asked me to keep in contact with her, I was quite happy for her to enjoy her vacation and contact me when she got back. What should I do? I'm literally dreading sending the next message. Thank you.

I will have the opportunity in a weeks time, I just need to keep conversation ticking over until then. We get on fantastically when we're together, and would hate to lose what we have over stale facebook convo.

If she doesn't ask anything in return, then don't ask anything in return of her. Just keep the messages light and fun, and let a convo drift off if her message doesn't warrant a response.

El Pallasso Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Simply tell her you don't do Facebook or text conversions. Be confident in yourself and do what benefits YOU not what vendors her or gives her emotional validation and satisfaction.

Your communication should be light and fun, make her smile and feel good about meeting you when she's back. In general though I don't text girls if they're on a trip unless they request it or initiate.
