rebelwithoutapause Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 There's a girl I have a fat crush on. I been meaning to send a msg but was wondering if this was good.. "Hey, I don't know what it is, but you look hella familiar, have we met before??" Its not true, but I thought it would be a clever way to spark a conversation. She probably gets msgs all the time like, "Damn girl, whats good?!" So I want to be different. Any input?
TaraMaiden2 Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Don't lie. That's so transparent, it's corny. How come you have her number to send her a message (the word is....)? (Text-speak doesn't go down too well round these here parts...! )

TaraMaiden2 Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 You know, you may be kidding, but occasionally, a direct and honest approach may succeed. "Hi. It's <your name>. Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you're lovely, and I'd like to take you out for a bite to eat - my treat - fancy sharing a bag of fries - ?!" That's funny and honest....

That would be good if it were the 50's, lol. That sounds a bit creepy TBH. We don't know each other at all, & inviting her out to eat as a first line won't do it for me. We're both in our 20's BTW.

With a sense of humor like that I think you can come up with something much better than your first pick-up line.

Like I don't want to blow it with her ignoring me or coming off too creepy. What would you suggest as a first liner?
Gary S Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 "Hey, I don't know what it is, but you look hella familiar, have we met before??" - This is excellent, women love humor. Hey, even if it's corny, if they like you, they will laugh.
PrettyEmily77 Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Is there a way you could ask your mutual friend to introduce you to her one way or another, even just online? You wouldn't have to worry about being creepy or finding a good pick-up line, with the added bonus that she'd actually know who you were
Redhead14 Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 You're so beautiful that you made me forget my pickup line
Haydn Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 `Get your coat, your coming home with me` Or maybe not......
