a_girl Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 hello everyone. i am having boyfriend problems. i shouldn't be doing this, but i need to know. here it is. my boyfriend and i have been dating for a little over than a year. and ever since, it seems like my bf is controlling me, but in a secret way. to sum it up, if feels like i am living with my parents. he tells me to do things a certain way, ( his way) example, folding his clothes his way. i have talked to him many times, it has slowed down a lot. we fight quit a bit, and over stupid stuff. i don't know what else to do. i love him too much to break up with him!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i am trying to work my way around that. any suggestions? please, let me know.
d'Arthez Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Things don't look too good. It might be that he has some major issues, and it can be relatively innocent. There is too little information provided, to give a clear perspective on things. How do you work out a compromise on these things? Or have you given in? Is it always his way? If he has agreed upon a compromise with you, does he live by it? Does he accept your views as an acceptable and healthy alternative to his views, without pushing for conversion to his views?
