Do you think Michael Douglas character in "Fatal Attraction" got what he deserved?

He cheated on his wife-then the woman that he had an affair with wouldn't let go. She stalked his family, harassed him, etc, etc. Who's at fault here?

She's at fault because she's psycho which technically isn't her fault that she was born like that but still...she kidnapped a kid and killed the rabbit.

I say Michael Douglas' character's wife was at fault...

 

I mean, what a lazy, spoiled brat of a wife he had. She was a SAHM/SAHW and couldn't make time to have sex with her husband? Really?!?

 

Now, he was a bit careless to not use any condoms - especially with some floozy that he doesn't know from Adam. He also let her know too much about him (i.e. where he lived, his tel, his job, etc.) Next time he needs to be more discreet.

 

And Glenn Close' character, Alex? She needed to get a clue. SHE was the one who proposed the hook-up, HE was clear that he just wanted to get laid. Was she really that ignorant to think thad 'she didn't know she could get preggo?':rolleyes:

 

And what was even more Krazy about her? They only spent a weekend together and she was all "you're the love of my life" Really? Was she that lonely/desperate?

 

So, all the peeps here (wife, Douglas, Close) were at fault in some way. And, no, even though Douglas cheated, he didn't deserve to be punished by some looney psycho for a moment of lapse of judgment.

Well, the bunny didn't do anything wrong. His wife didn't deserve to be assault.

 

The whole ordeal would have been avoided by keeping it in his pants!

 

eta; My boyfriend was stabbed by the woman he left me for. Not quite fatal attraction, but still entertaining. :)

Cheating is not illegal. Stalking, harassment, animal cruelty and assault are.



 

I think that answers the question.

I don't know who is at fault, but I think it is a great lesson for potential cheaters that it isn't all fun and games... And maybe use the head on your shoulders for a change.
