Crushing on a coworker is considered sexual harassment if they happen to find out that you have a crush on them and they don't feel the same way. There's a reason many articles I have read on the Internet say that if you have a crush on a coworker to keep your feelings private no matter what. Which means if those feelings are revealed whether by directly telling them or if other coworkers tell them then it can be considered sexual harassment.

Sexual harassment has received a broader definition today for men. A man does not even have to touch a woman or even say anything sexual in his speech for him to be charged with sexual harassment. All it takes is for him to have a crush on a female coworker, then the female coworker finds out about it and she doesn't feel the same way and she is uncomfortable with the fact that he has a crush on her. Then she can complain to HR.

So be careful at work. You work closely with someone feels develop sometimes but you gotta keep it private.

It's not legally sexual harassment unless the person with the crush has the power to change the object of the crush's work environment (hire them, fire them, change their assignment or level of pay) and acts on the power.

Otherwise it's just awkward which is why it is best to keep your feelings to yourself at work.

It's unwanted attention, which is a violation of someone's boundaries.

It can be very uncomfortable.

Yeah, in at least most job environments, it's really best to keep it to yourself. But lots of people do find love in the workplace. I just think that there should be nothing said unless you're positive feelings are reciprocated. But even then, relationships end, so you should be prepared to either be an adult about it or move on from the job.
