ayeshau Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I went on a first date with an awesome guy last friday, it went so well he made plans for the next day. After the second date, we literally saw each other every day this week, he initiated every date and he's expressing a lot of interest. Our first date we went on a hike and talked for hours, he knows I'm obsessed with shisha (hookah) so every date after has been at a shisha lounge, its nice we sit on the couches and just talk for hours. Its just also weird to me because not only does he not ever think of a solid date idea, he'll actually shut down any ideas I have. I don't mind as much because its the company I actually care about, and I can tell thats his mindset as well, but I can't tell if theres something off about this? Thoughts?

d0nnivain Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Is money a factor? Why don't you set up whatever it is you want to do & you invite him -- your treat?

I don't mind as much because its the company I actually care about, and I can tell thats his mindset as well, but I can't tell if theres something off about this? Thoughts? He's initiated and planned the first three dates, so you know he can do it. its the company I actually care about, and I can tell thats his mindset as well -- if it seems that you both are on the same page, why worry about it. You like it, he likes it. Why make a problem out of it. It's a little strange, but sometimes people just get into a routine. If you're bored with that, simply tell him. If he doesn't like any of your suggestions, ask him what else he'd likes to do. If he won't get out of this "habit" and you don't like it, move on. next time he suggests shisha, tell him you're kinda tired of that, suggest something else and if he doesn't want to do that, decline the date. Hopefully, he'll get the message.
