Under The Radar
Since joining Ok Cupid in the past week I've had a few inquiries from women whose profiles mention they are "mostly monogamous".
smackie9
it's either you are or you are not monogamous, there is no "mostly" I guess you could just ask them.
katiegrl
Since joining Ok Cupid in the past week I've had a few inquiries from women whose profiles mention they are "mostly monogamous". Do they write that spontaneously... or is it a box they click on indicating their relationship style? I am not familiar with Ok Cupid.
Weezy1973
I'd guess it means that when they're in a committed relationship they're monogamous, and when they're casually dating they're not.
todreaminblue
Since joining Ok Cupid in the past week I've had a few inquiries from women whose profiles mention they are "mostly monogamous". means they dont want to say they are actually hornbags......and that they participate in multiple dating.....i dont know why they would say that because its either you arent or you are monogomous.....there's no in between ...or...no mostly.....deb
Author Under The Radar
You have the option of putting strictly monogamous, mostly monogamous, or non monogamous.
katiegrl
You have the option of putting strictly monogamous, mostly monogamous, or non monogamous. That's what I suspected. I am thinking they put *mostly* instead of *strictly* to indicate, until they become exclusive with a guy, they're free to meet/have sex with others (as is the guy) ....but once they become exclusive, they are 100% monogomous.

Author Under The Radar
Thanks all for clearing that up ...... my OLD dating IQ is in the early stages of development
Frank2thepoint
They're monogamous with the person they choose to be. The rest are just a booty call.
neowulf
I'd read that as; "Ideally I'd like to be in a monogamous relationship, but I have had the occasional "one night stand" here and there"
MissBee
Since joining Ok Cupid in the past week I've had a few inquiries from women whose profiles mention they are "mostly monogamous". I haven't the foggiest idea but when I see a man with that I'm automatically suspicious.
