neildc Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 To the entire community, I just wanted to take a brief moment to thank those (especially the regulars) who are always here to support those such as myself who come here initially with pathetic stories about mistakes made and advise/guide against actions that we all take (contacting exs, scheming, etc) that seem to defy logic at times. Either way, it's something that you cannot understand in the moment, but time truly does heal. It's not a cliche. Going no contact is the ONLY approach to take. And the focus has to be on YOU and YOU alone. Make changes in your life, do something you have always wanted to do. Don't worry about finding another person. That will come in time. Live you life. It took me a while to come around, but I'm glad that I did...with the assistance of many of the folks on this site. Learn from previous mistakes so as not to repeat them, acquire new skills, be happy with yourself, meet new people (simply for the sake of meeting new people, period). I know I'm rambling now, but the point remains...thank you to everyone here for sharing advice, experiences, anything. Relationships are not easy to talk about, especially in a public forum. It takes courage to discuss, courage to accept situations, courage to learn from past experiences and even more courage to move forward and become a better version of you. Thank you to all of you. I sincerely wish everyone here all the best. Love will find each one of us, just when we are least expecting it. Good luck to everyone. 3
