So me and this girl have been dating for 3 weeks now. We are both 15 with her being a bit older. And it just doesn't feel as if its right. When we first started talking she gave definite signs of affection. But now, it's like I'm not so special anymore. Here's the situation...

There's this one guy in our class that hits on her, and annoys the hell out of her. Before he got the chance, I came through and gave my affection and love. But now, it's like she gives him more attention than me. For example, at school during a group assignment, if I sat away from the group, she'd just ignore me, but if the other guy does, she goes over and drags his chair. Also, she would mention his name every once and awhile. At lunch, she would always try to talk to him, saying "Ima try to get him to talk" and constantly bothers him. This other guy I have respect for, he's a friend and when my gf talks to him, he kind of ignores her since he knows she and me are dating and doesn't want to interfere. Why does she do this? She literally acts like she doesn't give a ****. Today I was a little despressed and she didn't ask me if I was ok, until someone else did. Also, when I went to the other guy to talk to him (just regular talking as friends) she kept looking at me. Also, I tried to confront her about it, I told her "why do you care about him so much when all he does is annoy the hell out of you?". What should I do? Should I confront her?

Second thing, I had this thing about being clingy, and the first time I apologized, and her reply was "you didn't do anything wrong, seriously. A lot of things been happening in my life that is making me distant from my friends". Just today, I was at her house and her sister (a little mental) told me a lot of stuff kind of unconsciously. Saying these things:

-My gf was talking about me last night. And does it frequently.

-My gf says I'm clingy, and she doesn't like it but still loves me.

-embarrassing insults from her to me (not from my gf).

When I met up with my gf, I told her what her sister said except ther part where I was clingy. Simply stating that "she said you said a lot of stuff about me last night". And she was like "what stuff did she say?" I didn't want to bring the clingy thing up because she already said once that I didn't do anything. Which I don't believe now. Then she also told me that her sister says "random things". She told me afterwards that she'll ask her sister about it. Should I bring up the topic???

Also, lately she's been staying after school a lot. She does have a lot of school days she missed and she has to make them up. And she tells me that's why. But it's also strange that this other guy has drivers Ed at this time. Even though it ends at 7 and I know she's hom before then. (Text, she only has a iPod).

Why does she treat me like this???

I only read the first two lines and got enough information right there. You're both 15. You're kids.

You'll look back in ten years and laugh. Be a kid and enjoy it while you can, you have plenty of time to worry about girls in the future.

She treats you that way because she knows she has you. It does seem that she has a thing for your friend. He isn't interested in her though which is good. I think you should stop putting so much into your relationship with her especially after what her sister told you. Pull back your affection from her and if she doesn't act better, drop her and start talking to other girls.

Oh he's interested. He just backed off in respect for me.

Well if he is you have a problem because she is to. Are there any other girls at your school you like?

She likes the other guy. She is always trying to get his attention. Look, you're both young. You probably don't need to be trying to pin each other down or get too serious. Stay in the relationship as long as you're having fun with her, but if it gets to the point it's more worry than fun, time to pull the plug.

Should I ask her about it?

Yes. Definitely.

She thinks you're clingy so be the exact opposite of that and don't be the first to approach her, text her, or pay attention to her.

Make her come to you.

And talk to other girls during school. Not just her. And talk to them a lot.

She's playing head games on you so it's only fair to mess with her head back, since she's into that kind of thing.

Be the king.

if you are being too clingy.. it doesn't mean YOU start acting insecure and playing stupid manipulative games. it means you be confident... stand tall, have a sense of self of standing apart from others, be at ease... show affection but also show how you value your own time and how you can self-generate your own energy. one extreme (clinginess) is not combatted by another extreme.
