Stone Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 OK Today WAs SUPPOSED to be my last day I just called my boss becasue he is on vacation and he needs to come in and sign the paychecks so I can hand them out. He say " I can't make it, everyone will have to wait unitll monday, See you monday" and I said " NO DAVE today is my last day, my vacation starts monday and then I am going on Maternity leave remember!!" he say's "Oh, I need you to do this and this bla bla you can take your vacation on Tuesday!" so I said " arn't you lucky I haven't booked my flight yet!" and he said "that's what I'm saying' i am sooo pissed I just want to get the F$$K out of here!!!!

Tell everyone to skip on monday. since he can't be bothered to come in to pay them, why should they be bothered to come in and work for him?

I just told the gang and they are pissed ofcourse a few of them made comments like " there goes my weekend' ect. I told them they could all take it up with him when he returns. I am almost not going to come in on Monday and leave the keys in the mailbox, He can take his vacation pay and shove it. This place isn't worth it anymore. But I've been here for 7 years so it is my only reference
Moose Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Sorry, but is this the norm? Has he done this before? I can see this happening with a crew of less than 10 people......but 28? There has to be one or two people that live paycheck to paycheck......even one day can send them barreling down a road they don't want to travel on. 28 people........I'm willing to bet that they could take your boss on......... If he's done this before, I'm curious to know what kind of turn over you all have.
