Ummm...it just doesnt feel right to be like "oh hey btw im transferring to your college!! SEE YOU SOON!!" lol you get my point? how can i tell her than i might transfer, without her thinking that it has anything to do with her?

Just show up and if you happen to bump into each other, just explain why you moved there. Don't make a big deal out of it and it won't be. 1
Fhsjkfjrhsdh3646 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 OP are you sure that even on a subconscious level you might not be doing this for her? It sounds like it might be.
La.Primavera Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Alternatively, if you are in regular contact with her you could tell her that you thinking of transferring to another college and ask her if she would recommend hers. If she responds positively, that's great it won't be awkward if you bump into each other. You might even have someone to hang out with when you get there. However, if she freaks out or is less than enthusiastic about the idea then you will know that it is possibly a bad idea or at the very least it is going to be a weird situation. It's up to you.
joseb Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 OP are you sure that even on a subconscious level you might not be doing this for her? It sounds like it might be. Yeah I did have that thought too. OP make sure you are doing it for the right reasons! Personally I wouldn't say anything especially if you are still only considering it.
Author UntitledNotepad Posted May 14, 2015 Author Posted May 14, 2015 Yes, I'm sure its for the right reasons. I applied to a few other colleges as well but this one had the best financial aid. So I'm planning to just transfer there and not tell her at all unless we see in person. Is this the right thing to do?
Vintage79 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 If you're getting the best financial aid package and you feel like telling her about it, just tell her the whole story - that you applied to several and this one gave you the best deal...it shouldn't be an issue if she actually likes you.
Gary S Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I'm sure there are thousands of other people that will be going to that college, you are only one of them. Lol, this is not stalking. Let's use some common sense please.
preraph Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I agree. Just don't make a big deal of it. Tell her "this one has the best financial perks, and looks like I might end up there." If she does start backing off, it probably just means she doesn't want a "steady bf" while on campus. But even if the worst happens, hey, dude, there'll be coeds every time you turn your head, so no worries!
