How common is it when guys pose in a friendly way with their female friends in pics?

Sometimes when I look at some photos on facebook, meetup events, I see guy and their gal pals posing closely in pictures-when I look at it, it seems like they are a couple, but they are not-they are just friends. Nothing too racy-just them standing close to each other-maybe their heads are together smiling for their camera, arms around each other waists. But they are just friends. Is this very common?

Why would you take & post a photo with somebody you are not friendly enough to stand next to?

 

Of course it's common. Think about it. . . how many photos of people who are openly hostile toward one another have you seen?

For some guys it is really common. For others, they seldom do it.

 

and Some women are not ok with it while others are. There is nothing wrong if you don't like it. Many guys won't like their gf stand too close to their males friends either.

 

But knowing that it is pretty common, don't think too much about it.
